About

My name is Rhonda Hoffman and I’m a genealogy librarian in Buffalo, New York. I was drawn to librarianship while obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in History and I obtained a Master of Library Science soon afterwards.

With a background in history and a love of finding information, I have found genealogy librarianship to be my perfect fit. I’ve grown passionate about historical records and how they can tell a family’s story. Learning my own family’s story has had a profound effect on my psyche and has helped ground me. I hope that my assistance as an information specialist and a genealogy teacher helps move others towards finding a similar peace.
