I became a librarian because I love information sources. Back in the day I would pour over reference books—studying their introductions, testing them with past questions, poking them with fictitious stumpers. 

When I became a genealogy librarian the information possibilities that historical records held was a dream come true. The more obscure the record the better. You will likely find many of those underdogs featured on my site.
